Your website matters more than you think
How many clients do you lose monthly and annually due to a poorly performing website? It's tough to measure since most people who don't pay attention to their site aren't monitoring the numbers of visitors versus visitors that are converted to clients. How much does a new client cost you with your current marketing efforts? How much is it costing in lost revenue? If you were to review these things, would you be happy with your current site or mad because it's cost you a lot in lost potential revenue?
Let's Do the Math
If every client is worth $2000 in annual income for your business and you lose just ten clients due to your website not being as good as it can be, that represents a loss of $20,000 in potential annual revenue. Not to mention other people that those clients may have referred to you. This example is just for losing ten potential clients which is less than one per month but what if the number is closer to two per month? In that case, your website could be costing you upwards of $40,000 per year! And what if some of those people wanted you to sell their home?
